Autodesk® Revit® plugin Legend Generator has been released with Autodesk® Revit® 2024 compatibility in new version 1.5.0. This application enables users to automatically create window and door schedules on sheets with element views and all the needed information. The output is created using Revit’s standard families, so it can be easily adjusted to each user’s needs. Automating this tedious process can save users lot of time.
The new
version includes a few enhancements apart from Revit® 2024 compatibility. The
main one is support for window and door tags in created schedules. Previously
only multi-category tags were supported, which meant that window and door
family built-in parameters could be placed on the schedule only by copying their
values to shared parameters. With this new feature it is now much easier to
create templates with information from built-in family parameters such as
width, height, rough width, rough height, finish, heat transfer coefficient or
fire rating. This new enhancement will be welcomed by all users for sure.

Another small
new feature is that window a door schedule creation has been separated into two independent buttons.
Legend Generator is develped by Arkance Systems CZ. Customers with active subscription can download the current version of Legend Generator from Holixa license management site. The trial version is available for download from Autodesk App Store product page. The trial version is fully functional for 15 days.
