The Czech technology company XANADU currently celebrates its 15th anniversary. The company returned to its traditional name after its management in December 2005 bought the entire share held in the company by AAC Solutions from AAC holding (Rocheby Finance).
"In January 1991, CAD Studio was founded and later in 2002 renamed to XANADU. The integration of the company into AAC holding brought with it also the change of its name to AAC Solutions. After we've found out the combination with foreign capital didn't produce the expected synergies and sufficient value-add for the customers and the company, we disaffiliated again and now we're returning to our established and not-forgotten name XANADU", said Tomas Netolicky, Managing Director of XANADU.
According to initial feedback, the return to XANADU name is a good decision that's perceived by the customers as a logical comeback with proven and established name while maintaining the traditionally high quality of delivered services.
The change won't influence the customers in any way as the company keeps its legal continuity. XANADU s.r.o. is owned by Tomas Netolicky and Radek Nekl, members of the company's management. Identification number, tax ID, address, bank contact and other identification data remain unchanged. Along with the rename, the company increased its equity to 2,000,000 CZK (69,000 Euro).
